Updates: Women in Trouble, Men of a Certain Age

Sarah has several ongoing projects right now, and we’ll be seeing two of them soon!

Women In Trouble is going to be released on DVD on February 16th (Sarah’s birthday!) It’s available for pre-order here. Sarah plays Maxine, a therapist with her own problems, and stars alongside Carla Gugino, Connie Britton, and Simon Baker.

But before that, we’ll be seeing Sarah on TV! She’ll be appearing in next week’s episode of Men of a Certain Age. Her episode, called “Go With The Flow”, will be airing January 11 at 10:00 ET on TNT. Everyone be sure to check it out!

Mamie (Lisa Kudrow) is being blackmailed. This filmmaker named Nick (Jesse Bradford) claims to know Mamie’s son – the one she gave up for adoption – but Nick won’t introduce her to him unless he can film the reunion. Enter Javier (Bobby Cannavale), Mamie’s massage therapist boyfriend, who convinces Nick to film him instead. Now they’re all making a movie about massage. And ‘happy endings’… Charley (Steve Coogan) has a longtime boyfriend named Gil (David Sutcliffe).

Sarah Clarke Cast in “Happy Endings”

“It’s one of those films that when you talk about it doesn’t sound like a comedy,” says Holly Wiersma, producer of Don Roos’ latest film. Described as a contemporary comedy involving three intertwining stories about secrets, schemes, and sex in Los Angeles, it’s hard to find the humor if you’re not told to expect it. A stepsister (Lisa Kudrow) and stepbrother (Steve Coogan) sleep together. A father (Tom Arnold) and son (Jason Ritter) unknowingly are involved with the same woman (Maggie Gyllenhaal). And a woman (Kudrow), who gave up her baby for adoption, is blackmailed by a documentary filmmaker (Jesse Bradford) who knows the grown child’s whereabouts. “But it’s a comedy,” Wiersma repeats.
